Now that we have a goal, so we know what we are to achieve and our why to keep us focused and determined; we need to do some self-development because in order to have more we need to become more. We need to develop a slight edge philosophy. What I mean by this is that we need to change our habits and to include little things in our daily routine that will help grow as a person so we become the person we were meant to be.
It is not difficult but it is necessary. For example if you were to read 10 pages every day in a great book such as "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill then at the end of one year you will have read 3,600 pages which is the equivalent of several such books. This is a slight edge.
I will recommend that you should start by reading "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson. Then you will learn to develop your own slight edge by reading this book. I would also recommend you read "Think and Grow Rich" as it is in my opinion the greatest self improvement book ever written. You could and probably should read this book over and over again. Be sure and read the author's preface as he will explain how to get the most out of reading his book.
Until next time learn how to think not what to think!

Hello James,
I have not read the "Slight Edge" but it is at the top of my list to buy the next time I'm in Books A Million. I have enjoyed "Think and Grow Rich" while participating in the 30 Day Mental Cleanse. I think everyone needs to do this as well. You made some good points and I thank you for the post.

Hey Great blog!
I will start implementing the slight edge now. I've been attempting to do so, but you've given me the boost I needed to get going.
THANKS
